This Instant sambhar mix includes lentils, dried onions, salt, sugar, tamarind powder, coriander seeds, red chili powder, mustard seeds, curry leaves, black pepper, asfoetida, fenugreek and turmeric. You may also add boiled, cut potatoes, crushed tomatoes, eggplant or chunks of chicken for a heartier dish.
