Spinach Cheese Balls (Palak with Cheese)
SPINACH CHEESE BALLS (PALAK WITH AMUL CHEESE)

Ingredients
Spinach (Palak) – 2 Cups
Amul Cheese – 5-6 (½ inch Cubes) or any cheese of your choice
Onions – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tsp for Sauté
Oil – For Frying
Ginger – 1-inch piece
Garlic – 1-2 Cloves
Green Chili – 1 (depending on your taste)
Salt – As per Taste
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Chaat Masala – ½ tsp
Breadcrumbs – ½ cup
Corn Flour – 1-2 tbsp
Red Chili Flakes – 1 tsp
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a Pot, heat 2 tsp oil and add Onion, Ginger, Garlic, Green Chili and sauté for 2-3 minutes
Then add Palak and sauté till Palak shrinks
Let the mixture cool down. Then blend the mixture to make a smooth paste. Do not add too much water. Try to use as little water as possible
Transfer the Palak puree into a bowl. Add Breadcrumbs, Corn Flour, Salt, Garam Masala and Chaat Masala. Mix it well and make a dough. Add more breadcrumbs if dough is liquidly.
MAKE SURE TO TASTE THIS DOUGH AND ADD SPICES AS PER YOUR TASTE.
Grease your hands with oil and take a small portion of spinach dough and flatten it by pressing gently to make a flat disc
Place the cheese cube and sprinkle red chili flakes and seal the edges to make a ball without any cracks or else cheese will melt and come out of the balls
Deep fry the balls till they are golden brown and crispy
Serve with Chutney and Ketchup
Note: You can Bake or Air fry the balls if you do not wish to Deep Fry them
